in the project site disposal area, the precision disposal equipment is running at full capacity and efficiently. construction waste enters from the loading port, and is crushed, screened, and sorted multiple times in the fully enclosed system. it is "transformed" into high-quality recycled aggregate at the discharge port at the other end. after further processing, the aggregate is eventually turned into bricks and roads... from the real-life sand table, on-site visits to interactive experiences, everyone got an immersive understanding of the "past and present" of construction waste.

in order to bring children a richer interactive experience, the project team of beijing construction engineering resources company also prepared a diy creative practice session of turning waste into treasure. the children built a "recycled" garden with the recycled aggregates and recycled reduced soil produced by the project, and "dye" the eco-friendly bags with plants in nature.

according to zhang yuan, huairou regional project manager of beijing construction engineering resources company, the datun construction waste resource disposal project was put into operation in 2018 and is the first comprehensive construction waste disposal project in huairou district. the project uses a complete set of core equipment and processes for construction waste independently developed by beijing construction engineering resources company. in addition to disposing of construction waste, the project also has the ability to receive and coordinate the disposal of decoration waste. it is equipped with 3 recycled product production lines to create a closed loop of resource circulation in the region. so far, beijing construction engineering resources company has disposed of nearly 10 million tons of construction waste in huairou district, with a resource utilization rate of more than 95%.
