"from the first contact in may this year, the project was implemented and started in just over three months." on september 6, it was learned from the concentrated start-up ceremony of key projects in the third quarter of 2024 in the central yunnan new district that the dongpeng beverage kunming production base project has refreshed the "new district speed" of attracting investment.
the dongpeng beverage kunming production base project is the 12th production base of dongpeng beverage group in the country. it will build a southwest regional headquarters center and an intelligent, modern green factory, becoming a "battle fortress" for the group to enhance its development capabilities in the southwest region and face the southeast asian market, as well as a powerful engine for sustained growth.
the project covers a total area of about 248 acres and plans to build 6 modern high-end beverage production lines with a fixed asset investment of no less than 1 billion yuan. it is expected that the annual output value will exceed 1 billion yuan after production, and the annual tax contribution to the local area will reach tens of millions of yuan, providing hundreds of jobs.
during the process of attracting investment, provincial, municipal and new district leaders attached great importance to and strongly supported it, and led teams to visit dongpeng beverage group for inspection and exchange and to promote cooperation many times. the yunnan central new district has established and improved a full-process, full-process, and full-life cycle service guarantee mechanism for major project negotiation, signing, implementation, commencement, and construction, and has made every effort to ensure the supply of land, water, electricity, gas and other elements, to help projects land, build and reach production as soon as possible.

as of the first half of 2024, dongpeng beverage has more than 3.6 million active terminal outlets, with more than 210 million non-repeated code scanning users, and achieved operating income of 7.873 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 44.19%. among them, the southwest region achieved a year-on-year revenue growth of 75.57%, and the development momentum continued to improve.
after the kunming production base is officially put into production, dongpeng beverage group will achieve its strategic goal of occupying a position and expanding production capacity in the southwest region, significantly reduce product transportation costs in the region, improve supply efficiency, better meet the needs of regional consumers, and become a strong support for the group to accelerate its national expansion layout.
