on september 4, the finals and awards ceremony of the 13th china innovation and entrepreneurship competition (chongqing division) and the 10th chongqing "gaoxin cup" public entrepreneurship competition were held in western (chongqing) science city. 41 companies stood out from the 366 participating companies in the city and competed fiercely through on-site roadshows. in the end, 30 companies won the first, second, third and excellent prizes.

the reporter saw at the scene that the finals were divided into start-up group and growth group. among the 41 companies that advanced to the finals, there were 14 start-up group companies and 27 growth group companies. the final road show was carried out in the form of "8 minutes of contestant road show presentation, 5 minutes of defense, and 2 minutes of judges' comments". five judges composed of venture capital experts and industry experts conducted a comprehensive review from five major evaluation contents, including technology and products, business model and implementation plan, industry and market, team, and financial analysis.

after a day of competition, 10 start-up companies including chongqing hezhi xueyi technology co., ltd. and 20 growth companies including chongqing zhijian life science technology co., ltd. won awards. it is reported that this competition has set aside 510,000 yuan in prize money to reward the winning companies. at the same time, companies that meet the relevant conditions can also enjoy the competition support policy.

it is worth mentioning that this year marks the 10th year of the china innovation and entrepreneurship competition (chongqing division) and the chongqing "gaoxin cup" entrepreneurship competition finals. on this occasion, the organizing committee of the competition specially established the "ten-year anniversary" award to award this honor to expert judges and cooperative units who have actively participated in the competition project review and special activities over the years and made outstanding contributions to the development of the competition and the growth of participating companies.
it is understood that over the past 10 years, the competition has attracted 5,063 entrepreneurial companies and teams to participate, including 3,931 companies and 1,132 teams, covering more than 100,000 innovative entrepreneurs in the city. as of this competition, 384 companies and teams have won awards in the chongqing competition area, of which 234 have been recommended to enter the national competition, and 67 have won awards in the national competition.
at the same time, the competition has become an important platform for the city to incubate and cultivate technology-based enterprises, high-tech enterprises and specialized and new enterprises. according to statistics, over the past 10 years, the competition has gathered more than 200 venture capital experts and industry experts to provide support for market development, entrepreneurship guidance, resource docking, etc. among the award-winning enterprises over the years, 190 have grown into technology-based enterprises and 105 have grown into high-tech enterprises, including 65 municipal-level specialized and new small and medium-sized enterprises and 6 national specialized and new "little giant" enterprises, which has injected strong momentum into the city's implementation of the "double increase" action plan.
