wu yanhua introduced that the current lunar exploration missions in the world present four major development trends: major scientific discoveries and the development and utilization of lunar resources as the main goals, long-term stay and extensive exploration activities as the main method, government traction, participation of traditional aerospace and emerging aerospace enterprises as the joint force, and extensive international cooperation as the implementation method. he said that the international lunar research station, a large scientific project initiated by china, will jointly carry out program demonstration, technology development, engineering construction, operation and maintenance, scientific research, talent training and other work with international partners in accordance with the basic principle of "joint consultation, joint construction and sharing". he pointed out that the construction of the international lunar research station is planned to be divided into two stages: the first stage is basic construction. by 2035, it will be centered on the south pole region of the moon and have the ability to conduct scientific research operations within a range of 100 kilometers. through the integrated information network of the earth and the moon, the interconnection and interoperability between multiple tasks such as unmanned lunar exploration, manned lunar landing, and international cooperation will be realized, forming a comprehensive lunar-based scientific research platform with basically complete functions and elements; the second stage is expansion construction. by 2050, a comprehensive lunar station network will be built with the lunar orbital station as the hub, the lunar south pole station as the center, and the lunar equator and the far side of the moon as detection nodes, forming a large-scale comprehensive scientific research platform that is unmanned for a long time, manned for a short time, with complete functions and continuous and stable operation. at the scene, wu yanhua initiated eight cooperation initiatives including joint demonstration, ground facilities, scientific applications, education and training, and welcomed partners from all over the world to participate in the development and construction of the international lunar scientific research station at all stages of the project and at all levels of the mission.
