"my aunt couldn't afford my tuition fees for four years of university, as well as the purchase of study and living supplies, board and lodging and other expenses," said cairen zhuoga, who lives in dangba village, xiewu town, chengduo county, yushu prefecture, qinghai province. when she was four years old, her father, who raised her as a single parent, passed away, and she has been raised by her aunt as an orphan.
cairen zhuoga's aunt is nearly 60 years old and suffers from multiple diseases. she has lived in the high altitude area for a long time. the family's financial resources are limited and life is difficult. during the summer vacation, cairen zhuoga received an admission letter from qinghai normal university. she was very happy to be admitted to her favorite history major in the history college. however, she soon felt quite frustrated. there was no money at home. her aunt relied on the minimum living allowance to make a living, which could not support her to continue to go to college. could she still go to school and pursue her dreams?
