during the event, yu jianyang, a staff member of the district lake management office, gave the children a vivid explanation. he introduced the important functions of wetlands, such as regulating groundwater, storing water to resist flood peaks, purifying sewage, and regulating regional microclimate, so that the children had a deeper understanding of wetlands.
