it home reported on september 4 that microsoft will hold the "wave 2" copilot event at 8 am pacific time on september 16 (23:00 beijing time on september 16), hosted by microsoft ceo satya nadella and vice president of ai at work jared spataro. the event will focus on "the next stage of copilot innovation."

according to it home, the event will be held on linkedin and focus on the business aspects of microsoft's copilot product.

last month, there was news that microsoft is about to rename copilot. "copilot in word" will become "microsoft 365 copilot in word", and "microsoft copilot for microsoft 365" will also be renamed "microsoft 365 copilot".

however, microsoft's event is about more than just renaming, with a host of new copilot features expected to be unveiled in an attempt to entice more businesses to accept the $30 per user per month pricing that microsoft unlocked in its office apps and other apps earlier this year, but businesses are still divided over the reasonableness of the pricing.
