according to official introduction, this is a headquarters building calculated by ai. the building was designed by foster + partners (it home note: it has created apple headquarters, dji's "sky city" and other buildings) in the uk and constructed by shanghai construction engineering. the entire building form uses ai genetic algorithm, which is also the first application of this technology in the field of architecture.

"the staff first feeds ai with a lot of data, such as the area's sunlight and temperature throughout the year, the public needs that the building needs to meet, such as the beautiful winter garden, the layered roof, the skylight that can adjust the light..." according to the algorithm, alibaba's shanghai headquarters is mainly steel structure, with overhead cantilever and transparent box design, and the overall style is avant-garde, simple and unique. in order to enjoy the "urban forest" on the binhai west coast where every inch of land is valuable, terraces and greenery are laid out on almost every floor and every side of the building, so that even if you don't go downstairs, you can always feel the sunshine, river breeze and greenery.
