since the beginning of the flood season, the xiliaohe river basin has experienced four heavy rainfall processes. each rainfall is not only a test for flood control work, but also an opportunity for the recovery of the entire xiliaohe river. the songliao river commission seized the favorable opportunity of flood season dispatch, coordinated flood control dispatch and ecological dispatch, and made the best use of the interval rain and flood resources on the premise of ensuring flood control safety, striving to achieve the best dispatch effect.

at the same time, the rear technical support team held rolling consultations to analyze the xiliaohe river rainfall forecast, rainfall on the ground, and the inflow of reservoirs along the coast. the liaohe river flood control headquarters platform was fully utilized, 24 dispatching orders were issued, and the joint dispatching of dongtaizi, derisu baoleng, and dashimen reservoirs was carried out in detail. from july 26 to september 3, a total of 292 million cubic meters of water was dispatched from dongtaizi and derisu baoleng reservoirs, and the water head reached 71 kilometers below the wobao hub of the general office, achieving continuous water supply for 149 kilometers of the main stream of the xiliaohe river.
