according to reports, the project is located in the first phase of the hexi digital industrial zone in shuixiang, with a total of approximately 4,800 square meters of office space and approximately 600 square meters of operation service center. it is expected to start decoration and equipment installation in september, and strive to be put into trial operation by the end of october.
baidu group will attract and cultivate no less than 20 upstream and downstream companies in baidu's digital ecosystem to promote the aggregation and coordinated development of innovative resources such as artificial intelligence data, technology, applications, talents, and industries.
relying on this project, baidu group will also build baidu's artificial intelligence big model empowerment platform and scenario application innovation platform in dongguan water town. baidu will import core big models such as "qianfan + wenxin + brain", integrate ai tools such as ai office, image generation, and ai live broadcast, and provide dongguan companies with big model capability call services. at the same time, dongguan's local manufacturing companies can build ai applications that adapt to themselves through baidu's big models, and establish smart application platforms such as r&d, production, testing, and marketing.
in addition, baidu group and its ecological partners will recruit no less than 200 ai developers, engineers, and technicians to the base within three years to support the development of the digital economy industry through the integration of industry, academia, and research. (end)
