the reporter saw that after residents living in hongren community, majuqiao town, tongzhou district scanned the qr code through wechat on their mobile phones, the door of the recycling machine opened automatically. after the recyclables were thrown in, the intelligent system automatically weighed the weight, and points were distributed to the corresponding account.

it is reported that the recycling machine is close to full, and the backend system automatically dispatches orders to the transporters based on the real-time operation status, vehicle location, traffic conditions and other information. during transportation, the recyclable packages are also attached with a unique identification qr code, and each loading and unloading will be weighed and scanned to support the full process traceability of recyclables from the source to the sales link.

"take the plastic bottles we recycle as an example. after being recycled, they can be made into umbrellas, t-shirts, handbags and other items," said su hongpo, beijing city manager of aihuishou aileifen. "by separating recyclables from domestic waste, we can reduce the amount of waste by more than one-third."
