recently, the nanjing bankruptcy administrators association and the jinling bankruptcy administrators assistance foundation held their second membership meeting and second board of directors respectively. as of the end of june this year, the number of members of the association has grown from 64 at its inception to 125, and the foundation has received donations of more than 13.97 million yuan from administrators.
in reality, there are many reasons for corporate bankruptcy, not all of which are due to backward production capacity, chaotic management, and illegal operations. some are due to uncontrollable factors such as pressure from competitors or market fluctuations, which lead to problems in the corporate debt structure. in order to effectively solve the problem of investment and financing difficulties for reorganized enterprises and save enterprises with restructuring value, in 2022, nanjing took the lead in establishing a bankrupt enterprise investor database in the country. the first batch of 78 institutions entered the database and published 19 pieces of information on the financing needs of bankrupt enterprises, breaking the information barriers between managers and investors and improving the success rate of rescuing "sick enterprises." so far, the investor database has helped more than 300 troubled enterprises with development prospects to regain their lives.
with the rapid growth of bankruptcy cases and the increase in complex cases, many risks faced by administrators in their practice have gradually emerged. in 2021, the nanjing bankruptcy administrators association and insurance companies jointly launched the country's first comprehensive bankruptcy management insurance, using the market-oriented cooperation mode of "bankruptcy + insurance" and the insurance method of "administrator association + case administrator" to help administrators solve their worries in their practice. comprehensive insurance includes four types of insurance: administrator professional liability insurance, administrator employer liability insurance, litigation preservation liability insurance, and bankrupt enterprise property insurance, to achieve full coverage of the entire process of bankruptcy management risk prevention.
