from august 19 to september 2, 2024, volunteers from yuetan subdistrict carried out door-to-door publicity activities with the theme of garbage classification and low-carbon environmental protection, aiming to enhance the awareness and practice level of garbage classification among community residents. volunteers went deep into each household and distributed household garbage classification publicity materials one by one to help residents better understand and implement garbage classification requirements.

during the home visits, the volunteers not only distributed brochures containing detailed classification guidelines, but also patiently answered residents' questions about garbage classification policies, standards and management. they explained common classification misunderstandings and helped residents clarify the correct classification methods for various types of garbage so that they can dispose of garbage more accurately in daily life.
