heilongjiang province has adopted a dual-drive approach of "policy + activities" to promote the trade-in of consumer goods. it provides a maximum subsidy of 20,000 yuan for scrapping and updating of eligible cars, and a subsidy of up to 20% of the sales price for the purchase of eight categories of home appliances according to their energy efficiency levels, with a maximum subsidy of 2,000 yuan per item. in addition, the province will also introduce more direct-to-consumer update subsidy policies such as car replacement and update, home improvement kitchen and bathroom update, and electric bicycle scrapping and update. so far, the province has submitted 16,000 applications for car trade-in subsidies, driving new car sales of more than 2.3 billion yuan; a total of 140,000 green smart home appliance transactions have been achieved, driving green smart home appliance sales of 820 million yuan; and driving home improvement product sales of 210 million yuan.
at the launching ceremony, heilongjiang unionpay announced the latest data: as of august 25, a total of 428 batches of consumption promotion activities were carried out, accepting 384 million yuan, driving commercial sales of 9.818 billion yuan, and boosting consumption by 25.6 times.
