for vehicles within the scope of this recall, the magnetic signal material may be separated from the main body of the engine crankshaft pulse wheel. the magnetic material attached to the engine crankshaft pulse wheel is used to provide signals to the crankshaft position sensor. if this signal material is missing, the engine will lose the ability to synchronize the injector pulse and cam timing, causing the engine to stall and unable to restart. the loss of power while the vehicle is driving may cause a collision without warning, posing a safety hazard.

chrysler (china) automobile sales co., ltd. will replace the crankshaft pulse wheel for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
