recently, the "heart-to-heart yunnan tour" yunnan province's 6th international students cultural exchange week and the "love yunnan iyunnan" cultural experience event were held at lijiang normal university. 60 chinese and foreign young students from 21 countries and regions including the united states, russia, nepal, sri lanka, thailand, vietnam, bangladesh, and laos visited lijiang normal university to experience the campus culture.
during this activity, chinese and foreign young students visited the national humanities and biodiversity science popularization base of the school - lijiang alpine plant specimen museum, experienced plant specimen making, and experienced clay modeling and tie-dyeing projects in the school of art. in the heyu concert hall, representatives of international students and lijiang normal university students jointly held a cultural performance, which integrated traditional chinese martial arts, dragon and lion dances, naxi leba dance, thai traditional dance, nepalese songs and other program forms to enhance the exchange and cultural mutual learning and appreciation between chinese and foreign young students.
the event was hosted by the yunnan provincial committee of the communist youth league, the yunnan provincial people's association for friendship with foreign countries, the lijiang municipal people's government, the yunnan provincial youth federation, and the yunnan provincial student union. the international students came from six universities in yunnan province, including kunming medical university and yunnan agricultural university. the event deepened the friendship between chinese and foreign youth and helped promote china's excellent traditional culture.
