after the launch of this notebook, developers from open source operating system communities such as debian, fedora, and openeuler have established cooperation with the plct laboratory of the institute of software, chinese academy of sciences to participate in the system adaptation and optimization of the xiangshan series notebooks.

on august 31, the plct laboratory of the institute of software of the chinese academy of sciences announced that the adaptation of ruyixiangshanben to the debian operating system has been preliminarily completed. it can stably run domestic office suites such as wps (through binary translation), and it is expected to complete the adaptation of all popular linux distributions by the end of this year.

among them, the fvf team led by risc-v ambassador fu wei took the lead in completing the fedora adaptation on the xiangshan nanhu development board; the adaptation work of openeuler by the oerv team of the software institute is progressing smoothly and may be officially announced as early as next week.

ruyi xiangshanben was led by the institute of software, chinese academy of sciences (iscas) and jointly developed by milk-v, yingqi intelligent, and beijing open source chip research institute (bosc). it is the world's first notebook using the xiangshan nanhu processor.
