some are happy, while others are sad. in the first half of this year, only nine brokerages in the market had commissions exceeding 200 million yuan, nine fewer than the same period last year. among the top 30 brokerages, only two achieved positive year-on-year growth, and these two are minsheng securities and guolian securities, which have attracted much attention from the market recently due to mergers and acquisitions. among them, minsheng securities' performance is particularly outstanding. it has become the only brokerage in the top 20 brokerages in terms of commissions to achieve positive growth in commission income in the first half of this year, advancing 10 places and ranking ninth in the industry, bucking the trend and entering the top ten. guolian securities' commission income in the first half of the year reached 75.7664 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31.72%, advancing 6 places and entering the top 30.
