walking into the exhibition hall of the zunyi normal university's "belt and road" guizhou zunyi cross-border e-commerce talent training base, foreign anchor wang yunlan is live-streaming chinese electronic products and bag accessories to thai audiences through a cross-border e-commerce platform.
wang yunlan, 19 years old this year, is from laos. she came to zunyi normal university to study abroad in 2022. she is currently a sophomore majoring in financial management at zunyi normal university.
"in april this year, i learned that the 'belt and road' guizhou zunyi cross-border e-commerce talent training base was recruiting anchors, so i took the initiative to sign up. after learning and training, i officially became an anchor at the base. now, whenever i have spare time, i will come to the base to live broadcast. on the one hand, i can learn cross-border e-commerce knowledge through live broadcast, improve my professional quality level, and lay the foundation for future employment and entrepreneurship; on the other hand, i can also increase my income through cross-border live broadcast." wang yunlan said.
when asked about her future development direction, wang yunlan said frankly that in the future, she will continue to learn about cross-border e-commerce, constantly improve her abilities, and return to laos to start a business of her own.
