today, keshen petrochemical has reached a leading level in technology in many fields and has formed a series of "little giant" products such as transformer oil, refrigeration oil, rubber plasticizer, and high-end white oil. many products have filled the domestic gaps.
as an important asphalt production base of china petroleum, keshen petrochemical occupies more than 60% of the northwest market and undertakes more than 90% of the asphalt supply for the construction of high-grade roads in xinjiang.
the asphalt produced by kesinochem is also used for road paving in areas with large temperature differences between cold and hot, such as the tibet autonomous region and turpan city. the hydraulic asphalt produced by kesinochem has been successfully used in major projects such as the sk hydropower station and the karot hydropower station in pakistan.

"white oil products can be seen in cosmetics, inner coatings of instant noodle packaging bags, etc. in daily life." li jing, deputy director of the research institute of petrochina karamay petrochemical co., ltd., introduced that white oil is a special mineral oil that can generally be divided into industrial grade, cosmetic grade, medical grade, food grade, etc., and is used for lubrication, filling, demolding, softening, etc.
"there is market demand, so we have to find ways to produce marketable products." jiao zhen, a first-level engineer at the keshen petrochemical research institute, said that when the vaccine white oil was first developed, there was no domestic experience to draw on, so the research and development team made bold attempts and eventually developed two low-viscosity, colorless, odorless, and non-toxic vaccine white oils, which ensured stable absorption and efficacy. now, the research team has begun research on plant spray oil, hoping to kill pests while ensuring the normal growth of plants.
li rong, chief expert of keshen petrochemical, introduced that keshen petrochemical currently has the production capacity of 3 million tons of gasoline and diesel per year, 600,000 tons of aviation kerosene per year, 1.2 million tons of high-grade lubricants per year, and 1.2 million tons of asphalt per year, and can produce more than 200 kinds of products, including more than 40 leading products. these products are widely used in many fields such as automobiles, aviation, ships, and construction, providing stable and reliable energy support for domestic and foreign markets.
