in his speech, tao jingwen said that as china's leading technology company, huawei also has a mission in ai applications.

"last year, the united states introduced restrictions on china's development of ai computing power. from this perspective, huawei has been committed to building full-stack technology that does not rely on the west, giving china a second option."tao jingwen said.

he went on to say: “in the event of a us blockade or breakout, chinese companies can have our computing power, our operating system, our storage, and our tools to support our development of ai.”

tao jingwen also introduced how huawei develops ai in two parts:first, there are various hardware and software for the "end-to-end" new infrastructure. second, these hardware and software are deployed on huawei cloud and provided to a large number of enterprises in the form of services.
