Reporters learned that the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the "2025 Shanghai Auto Show") will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from April 25 to May 2, 2025. The 40-year-old Shanghai Auto Show will be renewed as a world-class auto show and will host a closed-door summit of global automotive leaders for the first time.
The reporter learned that the theme of the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show is "Embrace Innovation, Win-Win Future", and the exhibition area is expected to reach 360,000 square meters. According to the exhibition schedule, April 23 and 24 are media days, which only receive domestic and foreign news media; April 25 to 26 are professional audience days, and April 27 to May 2 are public days.
It is worth mentioning that the "2025 Global Automotive Leaders Closed-Door Summit" will be held during the auto show on April 22 next year. "With the rapid development of intelligent network connection and new energy vehicles, China's auto industry has ushered in a strategic opportunity for development, which is also a historical opportunity for the development of the Shanghai Auto Show." Taking the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show as an example, it received a total of 906,000 visitors from home and abroad, and exhibited 1,413 vehicles in the complete vehicle exhibition area; 93 global debut vehicles, 64 concept cars; 271 new energy vehicle models, and 513 new energy exhibition vehicles.
