IT Home reported on August 27 that technology media 91Mobile published a blog post today (August 27), stating that it had found traces of Samsung headsets on the GeekBench benchmark database. The highest single-core score of version 6.3.0 was 1088 points, and the multi-core score was 2093 points.

IT Home checked the GeekBench benchmark database and found that the model of Samsung's headset device is "SM-I130". There are currently 7 benchmark records, all uploaded on August 26.

According to the benchmark database, the headset runs Android 14 and is equipped with a six-core processor with a base clock frequency of 2.36 GHz. Judging from the configuration, it should be a Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 SoC. The chip adopts a 4+2 design, with a maximum main frequency of 2.4 GHz and an Adreno 740 GPU.

Samsung Mobile President Roh Tae-moon announced at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July that “an all-new XR platform will be released later this year.”

Speaking at the launch, Rick Osterloh, Google’s senior vice president of platforms and devices, said: “We’ve been working closely with Samsung and Qualcomm to develop the next generation of devices. Stay tuned, it’s an exciting new era in mobile computing and we’re excited to take our partnership with Samsung to the next level.”
