Reporters learned from a series of themed press conferences on "Promoting High-quality Development" held by the State Council Information Office that in recent years, public security organs have actively implemented global security initiatives and increased cooperation with law enforcement agencies around the world.A series of cooperation mechanisms have been established with foreign law enforcement agencies, and a series of joint operations to combat transnational crime have been carried out, strengthen the protection of our overseas interests, and resolutely safeguard our national sovereignty, security and development interests.

at the same time,Propose a series of new concepts and propositions on security governance to countries around the world, share the achievements and experience of building a "rule of law China" and a "safe China", and actively participate in global public security governance. For example, we coordinated Myanmar law enforcement agencies to hand over 10 major fraud leaders including Bai Suocheng to us at one time, and arrested more than 50,000 fraud suspects in northern Myanmar.

againWe have launched joint crackdown and rectification operations against crimes in the "Golden Triangle" region, and carried out joint special operations to crack down on transnational crimes with law enforcement agencies of Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and other countries, and severely punished all kinds of transnational crimes involving us.

In the next step, the public security organs will mainly carry out work in the following four aspects:

first,Increase cooperationWe will make every effort to establish closer and more pragmatic bilateral law enforcement cooperation relations with foreign law enforcement agencies, negotiate and sign law enforcement cooperation documents, set up liaison hotlines, and establish regular meeting mechanisms to lay a solid foundation for cooperation in combating transnational crimes and protecting our legitimate overseas interests. At the same time, we will constructively participate in the United Nations, Interpol, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and regional multilateral law enforcement cooperation organizations, actively participate in global public security governance, and contribute "Chinese wisdom" and "Chinese solutions."

Secondly,Intensify the crackdownIn response to prominent transnational crimes such as online gambling and telecommunications fraud that the masses hate, as well as vicious crimes such as kidnapping, murder, and gang-related crimes that occur abroad and involve us, we will strengthen practical cooperation with law enforcement agencies of relevant countries in case coordination, evidence exchange, and the arrest and repatriation of criminal suspects, make full use of Interpol's resource advantages in combating transnational crime, and always maintain a high-pressure crackdown on all types of transnational crimes involving us.

Third,Increased protectionWe will make every effort to coordinate with foreign law enforcement agencies to intensify efforts and strengthen the protection of our overseas institutions, personnel and interests in accordance with the law. For European countries where Chinese tourists are relatively concentrated, we will continue to carry out regular joint patrols with law enforcement agencies of relevant countries. At the same time, we will work with relevant departments to strengthen security training and risk investigation for Chinese companies overseas, and enhance their risk prevention awareness and response capabilities.

also,The public security organs also actively participate in UN peacekeeping operationsSince the 19th CPC National Congress, the Ministry of Public Security has sent peacekeeping police to seven UN mission areas and the UN headquarters, and each Chinese peacekeeping police officer has been awarded the "UN Peace Medal".
