Beijing News: From August 24 to 25, the seventh stop of the "Nighttime Beijing, Trendy for You" sports carnival, co-organized by the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, Commerce Bureau, Culture and Tourism Bureau and Chaoyang District People's Government, was held at Blue Harbor.
At the Paris Olympics, Chinese breakdancer Liu Qingyi won the bronze medal, and the public's enthusiasm for street dance has increased. This carnival not only held a Battle competition exclusively for children, the Pump To Fight Autumn Open, but also used the plot to connect street dance and provided a street dance drama exhibition "No. 14, Class 1, Year 2". The team of the "Ride for Fun in Beijing" charity cycling event for Taiwanese youth in Beijing also came to the scene to cheer for the participating children. After the game, the Beijing Sports Industry Association awarded the champion of the Pump To Fight Autumn Open.
Huang Yuting and Sheng Lihao teamed up to win the first gold medal for the Chinese delegation at the Paris Olympics, and shooting became popular again. The virtual shooting project of this carnival was brought by the team that served the national team in preparation for the Paris Olympics. The simulation system and big data were used to restore the real shooting scene, where the citizens at the scene could fully experience the pleasure of shooting, such as holding the gun, aiming, and firing.
The event also features a Starlight Market, intangible cultural heritage handicrafts, cultural and creative works, toys and accessories... each stall is unique.
The “Nighttime Beijing, Trends for You” sports carnival will last until September 17, during which various sports events and cultural activities will also be held.
