It is reported that the entry-level SE model of Hyundai's new Sonata offers LED headlights, soundproof glass, automatic tailgate, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels and rearview mirrors without heating function. At the same time, the interior of the new car will also provide a 12.3-inch infotainment system, keyless start button, six-speaker audio system, fabric seats, etc. According to overseas media, its entry-level model will also come standard with a series of driver assistance systems, including smart cruise control with start-stop function, high beam assist, blind spot collision warning with rear traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exit warning, rear occupant alert, lane keeping assist and front collision avoidance assist with pedestrian and cyclist detection.

In terms of power, Hyundai's new Sonata models will be equipped with 2.5L naturally aspirated, 2.5T turbocharged and 2.0L hybrid engines, with maximum power of 142kW, 216kW and 143kW respectively. The transmission system is matched with 8-speed manual and 6-speed manual transmissions.
