IT Home reported on August 27 that according to 36Kr,Xpeng Motors' self-developed smart driving chip has been successfully taped out. An insider revealed that Xiaopeng's intelligent driving chip is specially designed for AI needs and end-to-end large models. It is a central computing architecture chip that supports cabin-driver integration, and "its AI computing power is close to the level of three mainstream intelligent driving chips."

Today (August 27) 19:00Xiaopeng’s 10-year passion night and Xiaopeng MONA M03 launch conference will be held soon, and Xiaopeng Motors is expected to officially release information about its self-developed chips.

IT Home noticed that He Xiaopeng, chairman and CEO of Xpeng Motors, also implicitly stated on his personal Weibo account:I will definitely not let you down。”

Among the new forces in the automobile industry, NIO announced at the end of July that its world's first automotive-grade 5nm high-performance intelligent driving chip "Shenji NX9031" had been successfully taped out, which means that NIO has achieved independent design of hardware chips/underlying software.

It is reported that the "Shenji NX9031" chip has more than 50 billion transistors, adopts a 32-core CPU architecture, and has a built-in LPDDR5x 8533Mbps rate RAM. It can achieve "high dynamic range and high-performance ISP", has a pixel processing capability of 6.5 G Pixel/s, and a processing delay of less than 5ms.

There was news in early August that the three new forces were all developing their own intelligent driving chips. Xiaopeng's intelligent driving chip had also been sent out for tape-out, but there was no further news about Ideal's chip.
