On August 15, the fifth stop of the "New Energy, New Trends, Bright Future - Power Plant Design and Component Selection Seminar" hosted by Chint New Energy was held in Jiaxing. The seminar invited industry professionals from industry associations, energy research institutes, design institutes, power grid groups, and owner units to conduct in-depth analysis on how to select components for industrial and commercial power plants, innovative technologies, power generation performance, reliability, and supply guarantees of components.

Zhejiang is located in the southeast coast of China and the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta. Shen Fuxin emphasized that in the first half of 2024, Zhejiang Province's newly added photovoltaic grid-connected capacity will be 5.213 million kilowatts, including 467,000 kilowatts of centralized, 4.746 million kilowatts of distributed, and 590,000 kilowatts of household. As of the end of June, Zhejiang Province's cumulative photovoltaic grid-connected capacity has reached 38.78 million kilowatts, ranking among the top in the country. Photovoltaic power has become the second largest power source in Zhejiang Province, and the photovoltaic industry has also developed into a characteristic and advantageous industry with iconic characteristics in the field of digital economy in Zhejiang Province.

Shen Fuxin pointed out that, against the backdrop of the global trend of responding to climate change, the trend of clean and low-carbon development of world energy has become a reality, and countries around the world have formulated energy transformation strategies to promote the development of clean energy. At the same time, under the encouragement of my country's "3060" dual carbon goals and the development goals of more than 1.2 billion kilowatts of wind power and solar energy, and the construction of a new power system, the development of renewable energy has new opportunities and also provided new space for the development of the photovoltaic industry.

However, as photovoltaic application scenarios become increasingly diversified, new installation environments will also bring challenges to the equipment selection of photovoltaic power stations, especially in areas with harsh challenges such as high temperature, high humidity, and high ultraviolet rays. The reliability of the equipment selection will directly affect the life cycle of the power station.
