The "Beijing Municipal Government's Implementation Rules for Subsidies to Support the Replacement of Old Appliances for New Appliances" was released, providing "real money" subsidies for eight categories of home appliances and computers. JD.com has taken over the online distribution of subsidies for the replacement of old appliances for new appliances in Beijing, and launched the Beijing event venue on August 24. Subsidies can be enjoyed for replacement of old appliances for new ones or direct purchase of new appliances. Each person nationwide can receive one subsidy for each category of product, with a maximum subsidy of 2,000 yuan per person per category of product, and a maximum subsidy of 16,000 yuan for eight categories of products.
Specifically, the eight categories of products eligible for subsidies include refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, water heaters, household stoves, range hoods, and computers. They need to achieve first-level or second-level energy efficiency or water efficiency. It is understood that more than 7,000 products that meet the requirements in eight categories on the JD platform are participating in the event. In terms of subsidy amount, first-level energy-consuming products can enjoy a 20% subsidy, and second-level energy-consuming products can enjoy a 15% subsidy. In addition, you can also enjoy JD's old machine subsidies when exchanging old for new. For example, consumers can use up to 6 old electronic products to offset the purchase cost of a new computer, with a maximum deduction of 1,600 yuan; air conditioner cabinets and wall-mounted units can deduct 500 yuan and 260 yuan from the purchase cost of a new machine, respectively, making replacement more valuable.

1. [Eligibility to apply for subsidies]: Individual consumers in Beijing can search for "Jingtong" on WeChat, Alipay, or Baidu client to enter the mini program. After passing the real-name authentication, they can apply for Beijing's home appliance trade-in subsidy by going to the homepage - Featured Services - Home Appliances Trade-in Zone.
2. [Bind subsidy qualification]: Open the JD APP, search for "Beijing home appliance trade-in" to enter the Beijing venue, and find the "Bind qualification code" entrance to bind.
3. [Purchase your desired products]: You can browse and purchase at JD.com’s Beijing event venue, or directly search for eligible products and purchase them, and you can enjoy government subsidies; if you want to trade in an old machine for a new one, follow the steps to submit the old machine’s information, and then click “Buy Now” to submit the order. The price of the new machine will automatically deduct the government subsidy and JD.com’s old machine subsidy, and the final price will be lower.
4. [Offline delivery and replacement]: Complete the payment and wait for JD.com’s delivery and installation engineer to deliver the product to your door for replacement.
