Lanzhou, August 26 (China News Service) (Dai Wenchang) Located in Lanzhou New District, Gansu Province, Zhongchuan North Station Logistics Park is like a shining pearl. With its unique geographical location and advanced logistics system, it is gradually becoming a trade and logistics hub connecting the world. With the deepening of the "Belt and Road" initiative, Lanzhou has leapt from an inland hinterland to a frontier of opening up to the outside world.

Zhongchuan North Station Logistics Park is a modern commercial logistics industrial park with air, rail, sea and road multimodal transport built by Lanzhou New District based on the Majiaping-Zhongchuan-Zhujiayao Railway and the Baotu-Lanzhou and Lanzhou-Xinjiang railway trunk lines. It is a national multimodal transport demonstration project, a national Lanzhou land port-type logistics hub auxiliary hub, and a new highland created by Gansu Province's opening up to the west.

"As an important auxiliary hub of the logistics hub, Zhongchuan North Station Logistics Park carries the important task of promoting regional economic development." Yan Peixi, head of the business management department of Gansu Logistics Group Land Port Company, introduced that the logistics park is a modern logistics park for road and rail transport that is a key construction project of the Lanzhou New District during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period. It is also an international freight train guarantee base for the country's second batch of multimodal transport demonstration projects.
