In order to promote the construction of a "zero-waste city", Guangzhou City has created the "Sui Recycling" recyclables recycling and utilization information platform to promote the online and offline integration of the three-level recycling network of recycling stations, transfer stations, and sorting centers, and promote the recycling and utilization of renewable resources throughout the city.
Develop intelligent recycling functions to improve resource recycling efficiency
Organize enterprises to continuously improve the digital service functions of the "Sui Recycling" platform, use "Internet +" technology to empower recycling sites, transfer stations and sorting centers, and improve resource recycling efficiency. At the front end, we independently developed smart recycling bins, which improve residents' experience of placing waste through digital methods such as contactless sensing, intelligent weighing, and Internet of Things technology, and supplemented by the mall's points redemption incentive mechanism to effectively improve the convenience and enthusiasm of classified placement. At the mid-end, handheld or terminal smart devices are equipped for recycling personnel to achieve digital visualization of the entire transaction process through automatic pricing, electronic bills, and smart reports; resource recycling stations are equipped with intelligent identification and monitoring systems, which capture acquisition images through intelligent, networked, and digital means, form acquisition ledgers, identify violations, monitor safe operations, and urge immediate clearance, ensuring that the entire recycling process is "visible, traceable, and controllable."
Improve the appointment service function and solve the pain points of recycling
In response to the disposal of large-scale garbage by residents and the disposal of scrapped fixed assets and sensitive materials by government agencies, the "Sui Recycling" platform has developed an appointment-based door-to-door recycling service. By predicting order demand, linking processing services, and rationally allocating recycling resources, it has effectively reduced recycling costs, improved recycling efficiency, and solved the pain points of scattered recycling. At present, the door-to-door recycling service for large-scale garbage has covered the six central districts. Citizens can make appointments for recycling through WeChat applets, WeChat public accounts, Sui Haoban, Xinhuacheng APP, telephone and other channels, and place orders with one click, and all requests will be met. For the disposal of scrapped fixed assets and various sensitive materials such as financial archives and internal materials of government agencies, enterprises, institutions and social groups, the demanders can make appointments through the "Sui Recycling" platform, and the processing center will send a dedicated person to connect, formulate collection and destruction plans, and issue a destruction certificate after the destruction is completed, so as to realize visual supervision of the whole process. In 2023, the "Sui Recycling" platform completed the first case of physical evidence destruction in the intellectual property court in the country, provided sensitive destruction services to more than 300 customers, and provided customized collection and disposal services to more than 100 units and institutions such as government agencies, medical institutions, and accounting firms, processing a total of more than 5,800 fixed assets.
Carry out publicity in community schools to enhance residents' environmental awareness
Taking the "Sui Recycling" platform as a starting point, we organize enterprises to carry out a series of various forms of resource recycling publicity activities in communities and schools on a regular basis. We have successively cooperated with "Sui Haoban" to hold the "May 1st Courtesy, Green Planting" event, participated in the "Let Garbage Sorting Become a New Fashion" Domestic Waste Sorting Promotion Week, participated in the "Green and Beautiful Guangzhou" low-carbon life experience day event, opened science education booths in many schools, etc., encouraged residents and students to bring recyclables accumulated at home to the event site, and organized garbage sorting, environmental protection games, knowledge quizzes, signature walls and other interesting interactions. On June 28, 2023, the Municipal Supply and Marketing Cooperative and the Guangzhou Renewable Resources Industry Association issued the city's first "Internet +" "Reduction Certificate" based on the "Sui Recycling" platform. Since then, enterprises, institutions and individual citizens who use the "Sui Recycling" platform to trade recyclables can obtain electronic or paper versions of the "Reduction Certificate". In 2023, the "Sui Recycling" platform carried out about 151 resource recycling publicity activities in 131 communities in 28 streets in 7 administrative districts, distributed about 100,000 brochures, exchanged about 65,000 gifts, and affected more than 200,000 people.
