The mother was insulted by a foreign man in Thailand, and the daughter immediately went on a rampage and retaliated by tearing the man's clothes

Recently, a Chinese woman named Ms. Zhang posted on a video platform, saying that she was discriminated against and insulted by a foreign man in Phuket, Thailand. A physical conflict broke out between the two sides, and the foreign man's shirt was torn during the process, which attracted attention.

On the afternoon of August 24, Ms. Zhang posted a video on her personal homepage on the video platform to narrate the incident. She said to the camera: "This was an accidental incident. I didn't expect that a random video would attract so much attention. Last night, the Thai police found the foreign man and they will meet at the police station this afternoon to discuss the outcome." Upstream News reporters contacted Ms. Zhang through the private message function, but no response was received as of press time.

The Upstream News reporter called the local police in Phuket posing as a Chinese tourist to inquire about the case. A police officer responded: "We have now found the foreign man and his wife. They will be charged and plead guilty on Sunday. If he pleads guilty, he will be brought to court on Monday. If he does not plead guilty, he will be suspended and charged with assault in about a month." As for how much punishment the man will face, the above-mentioned police officer said: "He may be fined 20,000 baht."

According to media reports, on August 20, local time, a Chinese woman named Ms. Zhang posted the first video on a video platform. In the video, a foreign man gave the camera a "middle finger", followed by a picture of the man's clothes being torn after a physical conflict between the two sides. On August 21, local time, Ms. Zhang posted another video. The surveillance video showed that at the entrance of a department store in Thailand, the foreign man in the aforementioned video pushed someone in Ms. Zhang's group. Ms. Zhang said that when the incident happened, she was shopping in the mall with her mother and two children. "The foreigner bumped into my mother, not only did he not apologize, but he turned around and cursed." The two then had a physical conflict, the man's clothes were torn, and then he left with the Thai woman who was traveling with him. On August 22, the person involved, Ms. Zhang, said that the foreign man currently asked both parties to apologize to each other and end the mediation, but she "did not agree with the plan." Police officers at the Wichit District Police Station in Thailand also confirmed the case, saying that the man would go to court to defend himself later, and the subsequent development of the incident would be decided at that time.
