It is reported that the special treatment of illegal fishing was launched on August 6, focusing on relevant policy publicity and life safety warning education for illegal fishing personnel, fishermen, and citizens playing in the water along the coast. In addition, Junshan Street has also actively organized the Street River and Lake Chief Office and the Fishing Ban Office to conduct nighttime fishing ban patrols in Tongshun River. By increasing the intensity and frequency of patrols in different key time periods, it ensures that the standardized management and protection of river and lake shorelines are implemented and effective, and jointly builds civilized green rivers and lakes and a safe living environment. So far, more than 68 illegal fishing behaviors have been stopped and more than 50 citizens playing in the water have been persuaded to leave.
Eliminating illegal fishing and uncivilized fishing behaviors and ensuring the effectiveness of standardized management of river and lake shorelines is a long-term task that requires persistent daily management and maintenance. To this end, Junshan Street will continue to strengthen publicity and education guidance to guide fishing enthusiasts to standardize fishing and fish in a civilized manner; deepen safety management and maintenance work along the Tongshun River, do a good job in publicity work to prevent drowning, and enhance residents' safety awareness.
