According to IT Home on August 23, Zhiji Auto’s official Weibo account announced this afternoon that the first “Lizard” digital chassis smart SUV - the new Zhiji LS6 will be officially released during the Chengdu Auto Show on August 30.

Zhiji Auto has started warming up for its new car some time ago. The official once compared the relevant technology to the "universal wheels" of a suitcase, implying that the new car will have higher steering flexibility.

The "Lizard Digital Chassis" has been installed on the Zhiji L6 in the first half of this year. It is equipped with an intelligent four-wheel steering system and an intelligent electronically controlled vibration reduction system. It can actively sense road information and adjust the response time to 10ms.

According to previous reports by IT Home, the entire Zhiji L6 series is equipped with the "Lizard" chassis as standard, which supports 6-degree-of-freedom digital management of the entire vehicle. It is known as the first domestic car that can crab-walk. With technologies such as rear-wheel steering, the minimum turning radius is only 4.99 meters (officially equivalent to the Volkswagen Polo), "equipping the car with a cerebellum" and reshaping the vehicle's motion model. The "Lizard" chassis can reduce the length of the parking space required for side parking by 11%, reduce deviation on extreme low-adhesion roads such as residual snow by 80%, and respond 30% faster in high-speed emergency risk avoidance and obstacle avoidance than traditional ESP systems.

The 27th Chengdu International Auto Show will be held at the "China Western International Expo City" in Chengdu, Sichuan Province from August 30 to September 8, 2024. The exhibition will be China's first A-class auto show in the second half of 2024. Domestic A-class auto shows include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Chongqing auto shows.
