According to IT Home on August 23, the number of online users on Steam for "Black Myth: Wukong" has been breaking records continuously, topping the charts for three consecutive days. Yesterday's highest result exceeded 2.41 million, while the previous two days were 2.35 million and 2.22 million respectively.

Judging from its rising popularity, Black Myth: Wukong is expected to see a new high in player numbers in the first weekend after its release.

IT Home noticed that "Black Myth: Wukong" has released the v.1.0.7.14784 version patch, which mainly fixes the problem that players can no longer change back to Chinese voice through settings after setting the game to English voice.

Black Myth: Wukong has four versions, namely the digital standard version priced at RMB 268, the digital deluxe version priced at RMB 328, the physical deluxe version priced at RMB 820, and the physical collector's version priced at RMB 1,998. According to the latest weekly Steam platform sales chart released by Valve, Black Myth: Wukong won the global weekly sales champion and topped the charts in 12 regions including the United States and Singapore.

Regarding the minor bugs after the game was released, Yang Qi, co-founder of Game Science and art director of Black Myth: Wukong, responded that the team is carefully studying the positioning and preparing an update patch as soon as possible. He also said that "precise air walls across the entire map" is a laborious task, and there is a shortage of manpower. If it is changed easily, there is also the risk of introducing new bugs, so the evaluation can only be more cautious.
