Recently, the new Spring Bud Girls Music Literacy Camp, jointly organized by the China Children and Teenagers' Fund (hereinafter referred to as China UNICEF), Tencent and Tencent Music Entertainment Group, was held in Chengdu, Sichuan. 40 Spring Bud girls from Luquan County, Yunnan Province and Xide County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, together with three professional music instructors and two Tencent musicians, experienced the charm of original ethnic music through activities such as music literacy courses, field music field trips, and recording charity songs.

Li Zhongming, Secretary-General of UNICEF China, said at the closing ceremony that the "Spring Bud Girls Music Literacy Camp" is of great significance to further improve the comprehensive quality of Spring Bud girls and help implement the rural revitalization strategy. He hopes that the girls can set high aspirations, strengthen their ideals and beliefs, enhance their cultural confidence, sharpen their strong will, cherish their time, study hard, and continuously improve their scientific and artistic literacy. They should transform the warmth and care of the Party, the country and all sectors of society into a powerful driving force for progress, kindness and perseverance, and strive to grow into pillars of talent to build their hometowns and serve the motherland.

This music camp invited three senior producers in the industry, Feixing Shao Nian, Deng Sen and DX Xiao Xia, to serve as course instructors. Tencent musicians Zuo Fuzi and Slow-mo accompanied the girls throughout the process in pursuing their musical dreams. During the period, accompanied by Tencent musicians, the Chunlei girls went to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to conduct a field trip of "looking for musical inspiration". After a deep understanding of the story of giant panda protection, they used their imagination and creativity to create music in groups.

At the end of the camp, the girls, together with their course instructors and Tencent musicians, recorded the charity theme song "Spring Buds" in the Chengdu City Concert Hall recording studio. The song was co-created by Tencent musicians Zuo Fuzi and Slow-mo together with 40 Spring Bud girls. It will soon be released on the three major platforms of Tencent Music Entertainment Group - QQ Music, Kugou Music, and Kuwo Music, to share and convey the power of loving life and bravely pursuing dreams to more users.

A camp participant said that participating in this event allowed her to meet many new friends, and they learned about music and sang songs together, spending an unforgettable time. "Under the guidance of professional teachers, I learned for the first time how a complete song was created and recorded. It was very interesting and magical."

Yang Yaoyan, the team leader of Pingshan Primary School in Luquan County, Yunnan Province, said that the children felt the beauty of music through this activity, and kept the wonderful melodies and unforgettable experiences in their hearts, turning them into motivation for growth, bravely pursuing their dreams and constantly moving forward.

In July 2021, the public welfare project "Spring Bud Project - Dream Future Action·Spring Bud Girls' Technology and Music Literacy Improvement" was officially launched to provide software and hardware support for technology and music literacy education for Spring Bud Girls. According to the cooperation plan, Tencent Music Entertainment Group will actively assist UNICEF China in carrying out music training courses, Spring Bud Girls Choir literacy camps and performances, jointly promote the development of Spring Bud Girls in music aesthetics and artistic vision, lead Spring Bud Girls to create boldly, express themselves bravely, appreciate cooperation, and gain strong strength in the company of music.
