Baidu Chief Financial Officer Luo Rong said, "In the second quarter, as the AI ​​native transformation of products accelerated, we optimized operational efficiency and maintained healthy profit margins. In particular, we expect the intelligent cloud business to continue its strong growth momentum."

The financial report shows that Baidu released Wenxin Model 4.0 Turbo in June to expand the richness of the Wenxin series of models. Compared with Wenxin Model 4.0, Turbo is designed to run faster and at a lower cost. Recently, Baidu also lowered the prices of its two flagship models, Wenxin Model 3.5 and 4.0, and made the three models of ERNIE Speed, ERNIE Lite, and ERNIE Tiny available for free.

In June, Baidu App had 703 million monthly active users, a year-on-year increase of 4%; quarterly online marketing revenue was 19.2 billion yuan. Baidu continues to promote AI search transformation, and search is becoming the largest entrance for intelligent agent distribution. Intelligent agents built on the Wenxin intelligent agent platform AgentBuilder can be distributed in Baidu Search and other ecosystems to enrich the content ecosystem and improve customer efficiency.

According to the financial report, the intelligent cloud continued to accelerate its growth in the second quarter and will maintain a strong growth momentum; as of June, the number of developers in the PaddlePaddle Wenxin community has reached 14.65 million. Public data shows that Baidu Intelligent Cloud Qianfan Big Model Platform has served 150,000 customers and helped users fine-tune 21,000 big models.

In the field of autonomous driving, as of July 28, autonomous driving travel services have provided more than 7 million rides nationwide;Approximately 899,000 rides were provided in the second quarter (9,879 per day), a year-on-year increase of 26%.In May this year, Baidu released an unmanned vehicle equipped with the Apollo sixth-generation autonomous driving system solution, and launched the world's first large-scale model supporting L4 autonomous driving, Apollo ADFM (Autonomous Driving Foundation Model).
