In the first half of the year, Jiangling County, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province achieved remarkable results in many fields such as economic development, industrial upgrading, project promotion, and improvement of people's livelihood with a steady pace and efficient execution, showing a good development trend of "both quantity and quality improvement".

Economic indicators are all positive, and the growth rate leads the city. Jiangling County's main economic indicators have achieved rapid growth. The five key indicators of regional GDP, industrial added value above designated size, local general public budget revenue, loan balance of financial institutions, and per capita disposable income of all residents increased by 14.4%, 52.5%, 40.5%, 18%, and 5.3%, respectively, ranking first in the city. At the same time, fixed asset investment, total retail sales of consumer goods, and deposits in RMB and foreign currencies of financial institutions have also achieved steady growth, with year-on-year growth of 1.71%, 4.6%, and 8.66%, respectively, laying a solid foundation for the county's economic development.

Industrial development has improved quality and efficiency, and the structure has been optimized and upgraded. The three-industry structure of Jiangling County has been continuously optimized, the proportion of the secondary industry has increased significantly, and modern agriculture, industrial economy, and tertiary industry have all shown strong vitality. In modern agriculture, high-quality grain and oil projects have helped farmers increase their income, and the total summer grain output and agricultural added value have increased by 106,900 tons and 1.561 billion yuan respectively. In terms of industrial economy, industrial electricity consumption has increased significantly, the added value of high-tech industries has increased as a proportion of GDP, and 10 provincial-level specialized and new enterprises and 17 high-tech enterprises have been added. In the tertiary industry, the commercial circulation industry and e-commerce have flourished, with 6 new limited commercial enterprises and 2,787 market entities, and the total express delivery volume has exceeded 10 million pieces, an increase of 23.93% year-on-year, and it has been successfully selected into the list of national rural e-commerce express delivery collaborative development demonstration zones. The export-oriented economy has accelerated its development, and the county's total exports reached 17.433 million US dollars, an increase of 34.3% year-on-year.

The project is advancing steadily and the investment promotion has achieved remarkable results. Jiangling County has made new breakthroughs in project promotion and investment promotion, with a total of 79 projects worth more than 100 million yuan signed, and the agreed investment amount reached 29.183 billion yuan. The construction of key projects has been accelerated, and market financing has continued to release vitality, providing strong support for the county's economic development. At the same time, investment promotion work has continuously innovated methods and approaches, focusing on advantageous industries and major projects, and striving to introduce more high-quality enterprises and projects to settle down.

People's well-being continues to improve, and the overall social situation is harmonious and stable. Jiangling County has always adhered to the people-centered development concept, continuously increased investment in people's livelihood, and steadily improved the level of people's livelihood security. Since the beginning of this year, 2,775 new jobs have been created and the comprehensive insurance participation rate has remained stable at more than 98%. The comprehensive livelihood support policy has been continuously implemented in depth, and 325 people have received housing purchase subsidies, which have been well received. New progress has also been made in public services such as education, medical care, and elderly care. Jiangling County was rated as a "city-level pilot for promoting the education alliance in the whole county." The County People's Hospital has become a tertiary hospital, the provincial pilot of the digital pathology service system has been fully completed, and the creation of a national demonstration county for traditional Chinese medicine has completed provincial assessments. Four new community comprehensive elderly care service centers have been built, and four elderly daytime mutual care centers have been upgraded. In this year's "one feeling, one degree, one rate, and one evaluation", Jiangling County ranks among the top in the province, fully demonstrating the vigorous development of Jiangling.
