The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) today announced preliminary plans for the 2025 season, including hosting tournaments in new locations, extending the schedule, and providing better competitive opportunities for players and fans.

Outlook for the 2025 VALORANT Champions Tour

"2025 is going to be an amazing year," said Leo Faria, global head of Valorant eSports. "We'll have longer seasons, more league teams, new formats, new skins, and competitions in new locations around the world. And of course, the fifth anniversary of Valorant."

A new destination for global events

In 2025, VCT will bring global events to new locations. The first Masters of 2025 will kick off in February in the vibrant city of Bangkok in Southeast Asia. In June, the competition will cross the Pacific to North America for the Toronto Masters. Finally, the entire season will end in the famous "City of Lights" Paris with the Paris Global Championship.Looking ahead to 2026, VCT will bring the championship to China, and in 2027 it will return to the Americas!

Longer race

Now, the VCT season will run from January to October, better aligning the rhythm of games and esports, shortening the offseason, and giving professional teams more time to rest and prepare between matches. The season will kick off with the start of each of the four international leagues, and two teams from each start will advance to the first global event of the year, the Bangkok Masters. After the Bangkok Masters, each league will play two stages and select teams to participate in the Toronto Masters and Paris Global Championship.

Deeper integration of gaming and eSports

With the seamless integration of gaming and esports, the upcoming season will bring the most immersive experience ever. We will update the standard skins of professional teams, launch new in-game props to celebrate the first Masters of the year, and return the World Championship Pack during the Paris World Championship. In addition, the Premier mode will allow teams to directly advance to the Challenger League through the game throughout the year, and the Pick'Em Event will also return, allowing fans to make predictions on the results of the games in the game or on the website.

*The Challenger League and Premier League in this schedule will not be applicable to the CN region for the time being
