According to @China Football Team,The Chinese men's national football team's training list for the third phase (first two rounds) of the 2026 Mexico City World Cup Asian qualifiers has been announced。
Three naturalized players including Alan, Jiang Guangtai and Fernando were selected. Wang Haijian and Wei Zhen were included in Ivan's national team list for the first time. Wei Shihao, Elkeson and Fang Hao who participated in the last training camp were not selected this time. The specific list of the training camp is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Bao Yaxiong, Liu Dianzuo, Wang Dalei, Yan Junling;

The Chinese team will face the Japanese team at the Saitama 2002 Stadium at 18:35 Beijing time on September 5, 2024. The national football team will then return to China and face the Saudi team at the Dalian Soyu Bay Stadium on September 10.
In this World Cup qualifier, the Chinese national football team is in Group C, with Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Indonesia. There are 10 rounds of matches, which will be played in a home and away double round-robin format from September 2024 to June 2025. The top two teams in each group will directly advance to the 2026 World Cup finals, and the third and fourth places (a total of 6 teams) will participate in the fourth stage. The 6 teams in the fourth stage will be divided into two groups (3 teams in each group) for a single round-robin match. The first place in the two groups will directly advance to the 2026 World Cup, and the two second-place teams will decide the winner through a play-off.
