Fast Technology reported on August 21 that in order to facilitate enthusiast users to try out the new features and help developers upgrade and adapt Xiaomi phones to Android 15 Beta 3 as soon as possible.

Xiaomi recently announced that it will launch the Pengpai OS developer preview version based on Android 15 Beta 3 for four models.

The models open for trial this time include Xiaomi 14 Pro, Xiaomi 14, Redmi K60 Extreme Edition and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4.

Users of the above four models can download the corresponding firmware and then upgrade it through wire flash or card flash (please make sure the Bootloader has been unlocked before wire flash).

The official reminder is that the stability of this developer preview version is unpredictable and is not recommended for daily use. Please make adequate preparations before flashing the device.

Pengpai OS is a system released by Xiaomi in October last year, officially replacing MIUI.

The system integrates Linux and Xiaomi Vela, rebuilds the basic kernel modules, includes 8 new subsystems, builds an active, intelligent, high-performance, and secure system middle platform, adopts a new cross-end interconnection framework, dynamically networks devices, and seamlessly coordinates capabilities.

It is reported that Xiaomi Pengpai OS 2.0 is expected to be released in October this year and will be first installed on the Xiaomi 15 series.
