On August 20, the Shandong Provincial Communications Administration, the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology jointly held the "Casting Network-2024" Shandong Industrial Internet Network Security Protection Skills Competition and Attack and Defense Drill in Jinan.
This event is not only the local track of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Forging Network-2024", but also the professional track of the Second Shandong Province Digital Empowerment High-quality Development Employee Innovation Competition. Nearly 150 contestants from 36 key industrial Internet companies and four basic telecommunications companies, including Shandong Unicom, Shandong Mobile, Shandong Telecom, and Shandong Radio and Television, participated in the event.
The competition was divided into individual and team competitions. The individual competition adopted the "theoretical answering + CTF practice" mode, and held skills competitions such as network security knowledge and flag-grabbing. The team competition adopted the "attack and defense confrontation" mode, and carried out attack and defense drills in two scenarios: automatic sorting in intelligent manufacturing and traffic light management in smart parks. After fierce competition, 4 individual awards and 4 team awards were decided.
