"Zhan" releases youth! 32 college students feel the pulse of Zhanjiang's high-quality development

In the eyes of college students, what kind of city is Zhanjiang? What stories have happened on this land? What new miracles are being created? Recently, 32 students from five key universities including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Sun Yat-sen University, China Agricultural University, and East China Normal University, organized by the Organization Department of the Zhanjiang Municipal Party Committee and the Zhanjiang Municipal Youth League Committee, took the task of researching topics and visited the front lines of development such as the "Hundred Million Project", the modern industrial system, and the marine economy in a one-month "Zhan" Youth Internship Practice Activity to feel the pulse of Zhanjiang's high-quality development.
This is Zhanjiang. The Leizhou Peninsula is surrounded by the sea on three sides. It was born and thrived by the sea. The sea breeze, waves, seascape, harbor, seafood, marine ranch, marine economy... The sea has endowed this city with a romantic temperament, abundant products and broad prospects.
Here is the backbone of the industry. Green steel, green petrochemicals, green energy, green food, blue ocean economy, the booming industries have driven the city to overcome all difficulties. In order to let the people live a better life, in recent years, Zhanjiang has vigorously promoted the "Hundreds of Millions of Projects" to promote regional coordinated development.
In 1958, more than 300,000 people in Zhanjiang built the Leizhou Youth Canal with their own materials, tools, food, sheds and factories, thus rewriting the drought history of the Leizhou Peninsula.
At present, Zhanjiang is focusing on building the "Fresh Zhanjiang" cultural and tourism brand, so that the "three freshness and three beauties" of fresh air, fresh water, fresh products, beautiful cities and towns, beautiful nature, and beautiful culture have laid the foundation for the development of cultural and tourism.
