According to the website of the Supreme People's Procuratorate on August 20, the case of Dai Daojin, former deputy secretary of the party group and vice chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, suspected of taking bribes and using his influence to take bribes, has been concluded by the National Supervisory Commission and transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution. Recently, the Supreme People's Procuratorate made an arrest decision on Dai Daojin on suspicion of taking bribes and using his influence to take bribes. The case is being further handled.

Dai Daojin has seriously violated the party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline and life discipline, constituted a serious violation of duty and was suspected of bribery and bribery by using influence, and did not restrain or stop after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The nature of his violation is serious and the impact is bad, and he should be severely punished. According to the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China", "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", "Administrative Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China for Public Officials", etc.After discussion at the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Standing Committee meeting and approval by the CPC Central Committee, it was decided to expel Dai Daojin from the Party and cancel his benefits in accordance with regulations.; Confiscate their illegal gains; and transfer their suspected criminal cases to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution in accordance with the law, and transfer the relevant property together.

According to his public resume, Dai Daojin, male, Han nationality, was born in March 1957 in Hanshou, Hunan Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in December 1975 and started working in December 1977. He was admitted to the China Youth University for Political Studies in 1984 and has a postgraduate degree. He received a master's degree in business administration from Hunan University in 1999.

In his early years, he worked in the Organization Department of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, and served as: deputy director-level organizer of the Organization Guidance Division of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department, deputy editor-in-chief of the "Contemporary Party Building" magazine of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department, deputy director and director-level organizer of the Office of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department, and director of the Office of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department.

In 2000, he served as member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Zixing Municipal Committee. In 2002, he served as member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor.He served as mayor of Chenzhou in 2004 and secretary of the Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee in 2008.In 2011, he served as a member of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy Secretary-General, and Director of the General Office of the Hunan Provincial Government, and later served as Secretary-General of the Provincial Government.

In 2014, Dai Daojin was appointed as the Vice Governor of Hunan Province, and in 2017 he was appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He stepped down in January 2021 until he was investigated.
