On August 19, the 2024 "Digital Shield" Ecological Conference was held in Qingyang City, Gansu Province, working together with domestic digital economy research institutions and leading digital companies to jointly set data security standards, build a foundation for cluster security, and jointly cultivate the digital shield industry.
The meeting released the planning results and group standards of the "Digital Shield" system, studied and solved the difficulties and problems in the construction of the data center cluster in Qingyang, a national hub node, accelerated the construction of the data center cluster, and promoted the high-quality implementation of the "East Data West Computing" project. The meeting also held the lighting ceremony of the first domestic Wanka cluster in Qingyang and the promotion meeting of the urban computing network construction in Zhengzhou, Qingyang and Hami. Academicians and experts in the industry were invited to deliver keynote speeches, and the 2024 "Digital Shield" Ecological Conference Seminar was held around the four major themes of computing infrastructure and computing scheduling security, data circulation infrastructure security, computing power and power two-way collaborative security, and artificial intelligence security.
Qingyang is one of the eight national hub nodes and ten data center clusters approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and other four ministries. Over the past two years, Qingyang City has seized the opportunity of the "East Data West Computing" project construction, accelerated the construction of the national hub node of the national integrated computing network and the Qingyang data center cluster, and made every effort to build a digital economy industry chain worth hundreds of billions of yuan. At present, Qingyang has built 15,000 standard racks, with an average rack rate of over 80% and a computing power scale of 18,000P. A total of 2,886 digital economy companies have been connected, 689 have signed contracts, and 219 companies including China Energy Construction, Kingsoft Cloud, Qinhuai Data, and Easy Data have registered subsidiaries in Qingyang.
From "a blank sheet of paper" to "a hot land", from "breaking the ice and testing the water" to "data surge", from "catching up and following" to "running side by side and leading", Qingyang has grown into the data center cluster with the largest increment among the eight major hub nodes in the country. In particular, based on the national strategic data security needs and in line with the development trend of "East Data and West Computing", it took the lead in launching the "Digital Shield" system pilot demonstration project in the country, and completed the "National Hub Node Qingyang Cluster "Digital Shield" System Pilot Verification Overall Plan", promoting Qingyang to become the first place to initiate and use the national "Digital Shield" system, marking that the construction of Qingyang data center cluster has reached a new level.
The 2024 "Digital Shield" Ecological Conference is a major event in the construction of the Gansu hub node and the Qingyang data center cluster. It is also an important matter to improve the security level of big data. It has milestone significance in the history of Qingyang's digital economy development.
Qingyang will be the first in the country to launch a pilot demonstration project for the "Digital Shield" system. Guided by the "Overall Plan for Pilot Verification of the Digital Shield System of the Qingyang Cluster of the National Hub Node", and in accordance with the overall idea of "one top-level plan, a set of security standards, a security platform, and a group of security talents", it will accelerate the implementation of key engineering construction tasks and explore a new model of "Digital Shield for Qingyang", "Digital Shield Made in Qingyang", and "Digital Shield for National Use", providing a Qingyang model for the national integrated big data center collaborative innovation system, and forming a "Digital Shield" standard system and model experience that can be promoted nationwide.
Innovatively apply the development concept of "Five Elements Mutual Generation", build the "Digital Shield" system in stages, and create a Digital Shield industry ecosystem chain of "gold, water, wood, fire, and earth", that is, set a standard for data security, attract private capital, cultivate the Digital Shield industry, build red Digital Shield products, and lay a solid foundation for cluster security; focus on promoting the construction of the "Digital Shield" system with high quality, and put forward innovative ideas in concepts, technologies, management, business models, etc., to form 6 lists of innovative achievements, standards, policies, application scenarios, key projects, and "Digital Shield" ecology; promote the application of "Digital Shield" standards through the construction of the "Digital Shield" platform, promote the cultivation of the industry ecology through the construction of security capabilities, focus on the construction of 6 projects, and continuously consolidate the security foundation.
