On March 15, Anhui Donghui Food was exposed by CCTV's 3.15 Gala for using inferior trough meat to produce pork with preserved vegetables. On March 16, Wang Hai, a counterfeiter, posted on Weibo that the "Crazy Little Yang Ge" live broadcast room had sold "Yuhuiyuan pork with preserved vegetables" produced by Anhui Donghui Food.

On March 18, Three Sheep Network released a statement on its Weibo account, saying that in response to the hotly debated online incident in which the company promoted and sold Anhui Donghui Food’s “Yuhuiyuan Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetables” that was suspected of illegally using trough meat as an ingredient, the company immediately arranged a special team to investigate, initiated consumer registration on the evening of March 15, and began to advance refunds.

On June 20, according to media reports, a man claimed that the Moutai sold in the live broadcast room of the popular internet celebrity Crazy Xiao Yangge was identified as fake by a third-party agency, and the bottle caps of the zodiac Moutai can be pulled off and the wine can be replaced. According to the results of the third-party appraisal agency, 13 of the 32 bottles of Moutai had been over-capped, and 7 bottles had fake bottle caps and fake inkjet codes.

In response to this, on June 21, Three Sheep Network issued a statement saying that the company has been promoting genuine Moutai liquor to consumers in the live broadcast room, and there has never been a case where the goods sold were officially identified as counterfeit liquor. To identify Moutai liquor, you should go to the official identification agency to identify the authenticity according to the anti-counterfeiting rights protection phone number officially announced by Moutai. The identification results of any third-party identification agency are not authoritative and legally effective. If the Moutai liquor purchased in the live broadcast room is officially identified as a counterfeit product, the company will compensate the consumer first in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, and strictly pursue the legal liability of the seller.

Live streaming sales data declines

Affected by the controversial incident, the live streaming sales data of Three Sheep and Xiao Yangge are also on a downward trend.

During the previous 6.18 period, Brother Yang only broadcast one show on his personal account.According to Chanmama data, Xiao Yangge has fallen out of the top ten of Douyin influencers’ sales ranking (May 24-June 18), ranking 20th. Except for Xiao Yangge, no other anchors under Three Sheep made the list.

According to media reports, over the past year or so, Xiao Yangge, a super internet celebrity in the live e-commerce field, has gradually faded out of the live broadcast room, and the number of live broadcasts with goods has been decreasing.

According to FeiGua data, in February this year, Brother Yang only had one normal live broadcast of selling goods, with a total duration of 2 hours and 21 minutes.

In February, Xiao Yangge fell out of the top 20 of Douyin live streaming influencers.
