China Youth Daily Client News (China Youth Daily, China Youth Network reporter Wang Chen) On August 16, the opening ceremony of the 17th training course for college students of the 2024 Liaoning Province "Young Marxist Training Project" jointly sponsored by the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Provincial Party Committee's Internet Information Office, the Provincial Party Committee's Party History Research Office, the Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission, the Provincial Public Security Department, and the Provincial Student Union was held at Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The leaders present at the meeting issued certificates to the 16th outstanding young Marxist students and representatives of the graduates, and the representatives of the 16th and 17th young Marxist students made exchanges and speeches. The five-day training will organize young horse trainees to carry out special study on the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Focusing on scientific and technological innovation, rural revitalization, green development, social services, defending the country and guarding the border, more than 10 scientists, ideological and political teachers, and theoretical experts will be invited to give special lectures. The training will design a visit to the Martyrs Cemetery of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, visit the Liaoning Lei Feng Cadre College, Mudan Community, Liaoning Provincial Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the special exhibition "Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Whampoa Military Academy" and other practical teaching links, and carry out seminars and exchanges on "Promoting the patriotic spirit of Whampoa and gathering the power of youth to forge ahead" and "Grasp the baton of the new era and run the new journey of young horse trainees well".

According to reports, since the provincial Youth League Committee launched the Liaoning Province Youth Marxist Training Project, a group of young political talents with "loyal political character, strong patriotism, solid theoretical foundation, and outstanding ability and quality" have been trained. Over the past 17 years, the provincial "Youth Marxist Project" college classes have trained about 1,700 Youth League cadres, and a total of about 260,000 students have been trained at the provincial, municipal and school levels, achieving positive results in promoting the widespread dissemination of Marxist theory among young people and strengthening the practical exploration of training young political cadres.
