"Comrades and Brothers" Vietnam always regards developing relations with China as a top priority
The Vietnam Youth Political Training Class and the former site of the Vietnam Youth Revolutionary Comrades Association in Guangzhou are not only important memorial sites for Comrade Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities in Guangzhou, but also important witnesses to the profound friendship between the two parties and peoples of China and Vietnam as "comrades and brothers".
During the more than six hours of stay in Guangzhou, Su Lin not only visited the red footprints of Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities, but also met with representatives of Chinese people friendly to Vietnam. Among these friendly people, there are staff who once received Ho Chi Minh, medical workers who aided Vietnam, staff of the former site of the Vietnamese Youth Revolutionary Comrades Association, and representatives of the younger generation of China.

Su Lin said that looking back on the historical path of the two parties and two countries, we are full of pride and cherish the traditional friendship between the two countries as "comrades and brothers". He also emphasized that Vietnam has always regarded the development of relations with China as a top priority. The two sides should continue to adhere to the 16-character policy of "long-term stability, future-oriented, good-neighborliness and friendship, and comprehensive cooperation" and give full play to the spirit of "good neighbors, good friends, good comrades, and good partners."
At the meeting, Yu Shuhui, a 77-year-old former medical worker of Nanxishan Hospital who was sent to Vietnam, shared with everyone an unforgettable memory 56 years ago. In 1968, the Chinese government established Nanxishan Hospital in Guilin, Guangxi, to treat the wounded and sick Vietnamese in the war against the US and for national salvation. During the eight years of aiding Vietnam, Nanxishan Hospital treated a total of 5,432 Vietnamese wounded and sick. Yu Shuhui told the reporter of Lanting Observation that she was extremely proud of this experience and hoped that the friendship between China and Vietnam would last forever and be passed down from generation to generation.
China and Vietnam are linked by mountains and rivers, share common cultures, ideals and a common destiny. The source of strength for China-Vietnam relations is the friendship between the peoples.Su Lin chose Guangzhou as the first stop of his visit to China, which also sent a clear signal to the outside world that the traditional friendship between the two countries will continue.
Deepening the construction of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future
As socialist friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers, maintaining close and frequent communication between the top leaders of the two parties and countries is an important tradition between China and Vietnam. To Lin chose China as the destination for his first overseas visit after being elected General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam earlier this month, which fully demonstrates his high attention to developing relations between the two parties and the two countries.According to information released by the Vietnamese side, the Vietnamese delegation accompanying Su Lin on this visit to China includes relevant leaders from various ministries, industries and localities. In December last year, China and Vietnam jointly announced that the relationship between the two parties and the two countries has established a new positioning, and on the basis of deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Vietnam, they will work together to build a strategically significant China-Vietnam community of shared future. How to deepen the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Vietnam is undoubtedly the focus of Su Lin's visit.
Nguyen Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association and former Vietnamese Ambassador to China, said in an exclusive interview with the Blue Hall Observer reporter that General Secretary Tou Lin's visit to China comes at a very important time and is of key significance. He believes that this visit will achieve many practical results and inject new impetus into the cooperation between Vietnam and China in various fields such as politics, security, economy, society, and people-to-people exchanges.
Nguyen Van Thieu believes that Vietnam and China should continue to exchange experiences and learn from each other in governance and economic development. At the same time, the two countries should strengthen exchanges and cooperation on international and regional issues, which will also play a positive role in maintaining regional peace and stability.
