Power banks, juicers, electric drills, these items that appear in our daily lives all rely on a small lithium-ion battery. An enterprise in Xinxiang County can produce more than 5.3 million such batteries every day.

In the production workshop of Xinxiang Hongli Power Technology Co., Ltd., various batteries produced by various automated equipment are like soldiers deployed in battle formation, waiting to be dispatched to all parts of the country. However, just three years ago, most of the equipment here was still semi-automatic, not only the output could not be increased, but also the winding step alone often made the workers exhausted.

"We used to use a semi-automatic winding machine, and we had to keep working. It was very tiring from the start to the end of the day. Every day when I got home, my neck and waist were sore." said Wang Mingwei, an operator of Xinxiang Hongli Power Technology Co., Ltd.

Three years ago, Hongli Power introduced a fully automatic winding machine. This new equipment realizes integrated functions such as winding, defective screening, insulation resistance measurement, shell insertion, and box loading. Compared with traditional equipment, it not only saves labor and greatly improves production efficiency, but also greatly improves the workers' happiness index.

"The workload is not as high now, and I am not as tired as before, and my salary is higher." Wang Mingwei told reporters that with the fully automatic winding machine, his work has become much easier.

In addition, the company's independently developed automatic assembly, liquid injection and cleaning production line uses domestically pioneering technology to achieve fully automatic production of eight production links including spot bottom welding, cap welding, liquid injection, and sealing.

"Before, it took 8 devices and 8 people to complete the task, but now it only takes one person and one device. At the same time, we have added high-tech inspection methods such as visual inspection systems and tensile inspection systems to achieve 100% inspection of products. While saving manpower, it greatly improves the product qualification rate." said Gong Xin, equipment manager of Xinxiang Hongli Power Technology Co., Ltd.

At present, the company's annual output value has exceeded 2.2 billion, and its products are widely used in model aircraft, power tools, mobile power supplies, consumer electronics and other fields. Manganese-based lithium batteries account for about 30% of the domestic market share, ranking first in the country, becoming a hidden champion in the manganese-based lithium-ion battery segment.

Wu Xiangjun, deputy general manager of Xinxiang Hongli Power Technology Co., Ltd., told reporters: "Since its establishment, the company has undergone iterative upgrades from the first generation of production lines to the fourth generation of production lines. In this process, the automation and intelligence of production equipment have made a qualitative leap, production efficiency has been significantly improved, production costs have been greatly reduced, the happiness index of employees has been greatly improved, and product quality is more guaranteed.
