On August 17, the New Energy and Intelligent Vehicle Development Forum jointly organized by Shandong Automotive Engineering Society, Shandong University of Technology, Zibo Science and Technology Association and other units was held at the Xingyuan Hotel of Shandong University of Technology. Scientific and technological workers and young students from many universities, research institutions and related enterprises across the province gathered together to discuss the new development trends of new energy and intelligent vehicle related industries.

The theme of this forum is "New Era, New Energy, New Future". We invited Zhao Xiangmo, President of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology and Professor of Chang'an University, Yang Shichun, Dean of the School of Transportation Science and Engineering of Beihang University, and Zhang Tiezhu, Honorary Director of the Academic Committee and former President of Shandong University of Science and Technology, to give keynote speeches entitled "Current Status and Development Trends of Intelligent Connected Vehicle Testing and Evaluation Technology", "Power Battery Status Monitoring and Safety Warning", and "Research on Countermeasures for Healthy Development of Multi-format Integration of New Automobile Industry Facing New Quality Productivity". While sharing innovative technologies and achievements, the experts actively diagnosed the development of Shandong's new energy and smart car related industries.

In recent years, our city has attached great importance to the development of the automobile industry and vigorously promoted the "double city co-construction" action of the national fuel cell vehicle demonstration city and the "double intelligence" coordinated development pilot city. The city has built the first domestic intelligent networked vehicle highway test base, more than 100 innovation platforms at or above the municipal level, and more than 80 high-tech enterprises in the automotive industry. This forum will effectively help our city build a first-class domestic intelligent networked vehicle industry innovation and development highland.
